When I clicked the link for Update 6 at the bottom of your post, it automatically downloaded a .vsix file that I think is corrupted. But, if I actually clicked the Download button from here http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/bf347eb6-99bd-4c99-89d0-6ca3fe1eb54e, and installed that .vsix file, all worked great.
